11th November Indoor Flying Fort Pitt Grammar School

The event was well attended, with people travelling from as far as Hastings to fly indoors. There was an interesting mixture of models, from traditional built rubber band free flight models of the type that our fathers, grandfathers and even great grandfathers would have been familiar with. To the latest RTF (ready to fly) 2.4ghz models of helicopters and micro plane, that fly so well. But one thing all the models shared, is that indoor flying is great fun. This combined with tea and coffee being available from two lovely ladies, as well as a raffle, made the whole experience very enjoyable. If you have never been to an indoor event, it's well worth a visit.
