 The Corner House, previously know as the Corner Stores, was the main village   shop at the turn of the century. It consisted of a grocery and a well-stocked   drapery store.
The Corner House, previously know as the Corner Stores, was the main village   shop at the turn of the century. It consisted of a grocery and a well-stocked   drapery store. 
One of the upstairs rooms was used for dressmaking. Gradually the   Corner Stores business declined and the Post Office became the main village   shop.
